So, what can I help you with? Here’s just some of the services I can offer…

What do I charge?

Most services (except vehicle welding):

Small and quick local* jobs can be as little as just £20 in total and these are not are not uncommon. I always make sure I’m very fair.

My normal daily rate is £300. A normal day is 6 hours, though on occasions may be 7 or 8 hours depending on the task.

For smaller, local jobs, I charge up to £50 per hour. The rate depends on what the task involves, etc.

*Local means if I’m already in your area.

Vehicle welding is £400 per day. Again this is normally a 6 hour day and includes most consumables. For smaller, local jobs, we can negotiate.

Call-out fee? No, I do not charge a call-out fee. However, if I’m travelling a distance to get to you for a relatively small job, with the current price of fuel I’ll have to ask you to cover the fuel costs.

Payment methods: Cash only, or prior agreement of work exchange.

Work exchange: E.g. for somewhere nice to park, spend time, live in your community, possibly have as a base, etc. All are all very welcome and often preferred over cash payments, or a combination of the two. Let’s chat!

Materials: I ask that under normal situations that you provide most of the materials needed. At times, of course it does make sense that some things are better provided by me but we can chat about anything like this beforehand.
